What is Claude?

Claude is an AI assistant developed by Anthropic, designed to help with complex reasoning, analysis, writing, coding, and research tasks.

Claude is currently one of the leading large language models available today and is used by enterprises, developers, and professionals across finance, consulting, law, and technology to automate knowledge work, analyze documents, and build AI-powered applications. Claude features a variety of add-ons, such as Claude Code, to accelerate your productivity.

What is Claude Code?

Claude Code is Anthropic's agentic coding tool that runs in your terminal. Claude Code lets developers delegate real engineering tasks to Claude: from writing and refactoring code to navigating codebases, running tests, and completing multi-step development workflows. Unlike simple code completion, Claude Code acts as a capable collaborator that can work independently on complex tasks.

The CCAF Technical Certification

The Claude Certified Architect Foundations (CCAF) is a technical certification that validates your ability to design, implement, and deploy solutions built on Claude. Claude Certified Architect Foundations covers the foundational architecture knowledge needed to build production-grade AI applications.

The Claude Certified Architect Foundations program is an online, self-paced certification path that participants can prepare for flexibly over several weeks, depending on their prior experience. The final certification exam is completed online as a supervised online test and takes up to 120 minutes.

The CCAF certification is now available to selected users but has not yet been officially released to the public. Starting summer 2026, CCAF will be available as a paid program by Anthropic. Finance Loop members can participate now to join the certification in May completely free of charge, if you meet the requirements and get accepted.

Who Can Apply?

If you are a paid Premium Member or Impact Member of Finance Loop: No prerequisites. Simply express your interest and you're in the selection pool.

As a Network Member (free of charge) you'll go through a qualification check to ensure the certification is a good fit for your background. Here, tech professionals, consultants, and freelancers working in a small company are targeted.

Final participant selection is made by the team. Application deadline: May 8, 2026.
