Euro Finance Week program
The program of the 29th Euro Finance Week runs over five days, from November 16 to 20, 2026, with one main conference per day. The dfv Euro Finance Group publishes each day's program on its own event page; the versions summarized here date from September 2026, and the organizer marks some speakers as requested, so names can still change. Most sessions are held in German or English, the opening conference with simultaneous translation.
November 16: opening conference and China Day
The opening conference at the Frankfurter Hof starts with Hesse's Minister President Boris Rhein and an opening address by ECB Vice-President Boris Vujčić, followed by a keynote from the chief executive of DZ BANK. Talks with the chief executives of BNP Paribas Germany, Helaba and Commerzbank cover banking strategy. A block of tech and innovation talks puts DKB next to OpenAI and gives slots to AWS and HSBC Germany.
The afternoon panel "Building Germany's Financial Future" brings ING Germany, former federal finance minister Christian Lindner and the Boerse Stuttgart Group together on capital markets and retirement savings. The chair of the Anti-Money Laundering Authority, Bruna Szego, reviews AMLA's first year in Frankfurt. The European Banker of the Year award follows in the evening at the city hall, by invitation. The 12th China Day on the same day discusses China's "Agenda 2030" and its meaning for trade and investment with Germany.
November 17: Green Finance Forum
The 12th Green Finance Forum is titled "Changing Perspectives: From Green to Blue Finance" and deals with financing water: water security, water as an asset and the infrastructure that utilities and cities have to pay for. Federal environment minister Carsten Schneider gives the welcome note, and the chief sustainability officers of BNP Paribas, KfW, Commerzbank and Deutsche Bank speak, along with DZ BANK's head of sustainability. Two sessions touch technology: a deep dive on nature risk and AI-based resilience, and a panel with Capgemini, Bloomberg and AWS on the water and cooling needs of AI data centers.
November 18: EURO FINANCE Tech Day
The EURO FINANCE Tech Day runs under "From Artificial to Autonomous Finance". Deutsche Bundesbank board member Michael Theurer gives the opening keynote, followed by impulses from Aleph Alpha and IBM. The Future Talks ask whether autonomous finance makes the mainframe obsolete, with lemon.markets and dwpbank, how sovereign cloud works for banks, with AWS, and whether Europe is ready for agentic AI in banking, with LBBW.
Later sessions cover AI and financial stability with the Bundesbank and DZ BANK, cloud, data and quantum infrastructure with Schwarz Digits, Deutsche Börse and Terra Quantum, AI in payments with BNP Paribas and DZ BANK, and the return on AI with BayernLB and HSBC Germany. The day ends with a Frankfurt Main Finance reception and the Startup of the Year award of Frankfurt Forward.
November 19: HQ Trust Investors Forum
The HQ Trust Investors Forum is the asset management day: the organizer promises institutional investors a full day of independent capital market expertise across asset classes, held with HQ Trust and Universal Investment and with German-English interpreting. Former ECB president Jean-Claude Trichet and the economist Lars P. Feld are among the speakers. Asset management in Frankfurt describes the firms behind the audience.
November 20: Frankfurt European Banking Congress
The 36th Frankfurt European Banking Congress at the Alte Oper is titled "Europe in Action: Technology, Energy, Defence". ECB President Christine Lagarde gives the presidential address, and senior executives of Commerzbank, BNP Paribas, HSBC and Deutsche Bank discuss the banking perspective. The business panel includes the chief executive of IQM Quantum Computers and the CFO of Siemens Energy. Bundesbank President Joachim Nagel and federal finance minister Lars Klingbeil speak in the afternoon. The congress admits guests by invitation only.
