What to expect at the FinTech Founder & Investor Evening
Finance Loop is a partner of the FinTech Founder & Investor Evening on at the Schalast offices in Frankfurt. The evening is presented by Finteda, the law firm Schalast and the wealth management software company Fincite. Finteda is a practitioner network for finance, technology and data that runs invitation-only events in Frankfurt, London, New York, Paris and Zurich. It is for around 60 founders and investors, held in English under the theme "Capital, Regulation & Scale".
The program opens with a fireside chat. Patrick Stäuble, founder and CEO of Teylor AG, talks with Simon Waldbröl, partner in the Banking & Finance practice at Schalast. The questions: what it takes to raise money and scale a fintech in Europe, what regulation costs a young company in practice, and what Stäuble would do differently today. Teylor runs an online lending platform for small and mid-sized businesses with business loans, leasing and factoring. In early 2025 it bought factoring businesses from grenke AG.
A panel on private equity, venture capital and the fintech market follows and looks at the same questions from the investor side. The other speakers are Friedhelm A. Schmitt, CEO of Fincite in Frankfurt, and Romain Grimal, Investment Director at BlackFin Tech. BlackFin Tech is the venture fund of BlackFin Capital Partners, which invests only in financial services and fintech companies and has an office in Frankfurt.
Food, drinks and networking run from 18:45 until 21:00. The organizers call the format practitioner-first: no career-fair dynamics and no vendor showcase.
