Finteda: the practitioner network for finance, technology and data
Finteda is the practitioner network for finance, technology and data. It convenes senior practitioners who build financial systems in invitation-only rooms hosted inside banks, funds and data firms, and publishes a record of each session afterward. Finteda began as Fintech Devnight, a Frankfurt meetup for fintech builders, quants and data engineers, before it grew into its current name.
Finteda runs its program in Frankfurt, London, New York, Paris and Zurich, and Finance Loop is a partner on several of its events.
What Finteda does
Finteda hosts practitioners from banks, funds and data firms to compare notes on systems and decisions they cannot discuss in public panels, then writes up a session record so the discussion reaches people who were not in the room. The topics are quantitative technology, machine learning, WealthTech, RegTech and applied AI in finance, and the audience is the people who build these systems.
Finteda's Frankfurt program has run sessions titled "WealthTech, RegTech & Cloud" and "AI in Finance", and its calendar also lists Quant Devnight sessions in London and New York and a WealthTech gathering for Swiss wealth managers in Zurich. The current list is on Finteda's events page.
Finteda and Finance Loop
Finance Loop and Finteda both support the Claude Hacker House series in Frankfurt, a hands-on build format for finance and technology practitioners. Finance Loop was also a partner of Finteda's AI in Finance Paris on applied AI in wealth management and investment, and Finteda presented the FinTech Founder & Investor Evening in Frankfurt together with the law firm Schalast and the wealth management software company Fincite, with Finance Loop as a partner. Finteda and Finance Loop were also co-organizers of the Frankfurt Quantum Finance Forum, a conference on quantum computing in finance that Frankfurt School of Finance & Management organized with Deutsche Bundesbank and IBM.

Finteda and Finance Loop have worked together on several events in Frankfurt and Paris: the Claude Hacker House series, AI in Finance Paris and the FinTech Founder & Investor Evening. Both networks bring finance and technology practitioners into the same room, and WealthTech, part of Finance Loop's Investment & Digital Assets track, is one of the fields where their programs overlap.
Finance Loop is a professional network and has the goal of driving the adoption of emerging technologies in finance, such as AI, tokenization, stablecoins, and DeFi.
