Frankfurt, Germany, on April 3, 2026. Finance Loop is announcing its partnership with the Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN) for the Point Zero Forum 2026, joining a premier global platform dedicated to shaping the future of financial systems through policy dialogue, technological innovation and cross border collaboration.
Established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024, GFTN serves as a global convening platform connecting policymakers, financial institutions, and technology leaders to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities in financial innovation. With a presence across Singapore, Tokyo and Berlin, GFTN convenes stakeholders from over 130 countries, catalysing partnerships and advancing real world outcomes at the intersection of finance, policy and technology.
As part of this global ecosystem, Finance Loop will participate in the Point Zero Forum 2026, GFTNs flagship European platform held in Zurich from 23 25 June 2026. Into its fifth edition, the Forum is a unique collaboration between the Swiss State Secretariat for International Finance (SIF) and GFTN, organised in cooperation with leading institutions including the BIS Innovation Hub, MAS, the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), and the Swiss National Bank.
Since its inception in 2022, the Point Zero Forum has established itself as a leading global platform for dialogue at the intersection of policy, finance and technology. It convenes central bankers, regulators, policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators to address critical developments shaping the global financial system. In 2025, the Forum brought together over 2000 participants from more than 60 countries, with a significant representation from the public sector, enabling meaningful engagement on global regulatory frameworks and financial innovation.
The 2026 edition, themed Where Finance Gets Rewired Trust, Technology, and the New Rules of Money, will explore key forces transforming the financial landscape, including:
- The transition of artificial intelligence, tokenisation and quantum technologies from pilot phases to real world deployment
- The growing importance of digital sovereignty across major economies
- The emergence of always on, 24 7 financial systems and evolving global trade flows
- The development of new regulatory frameworks governing digital assets and AI
- The rise of new capital corridors across Europe, the GCC, India and ASEAN
Through high level keynotes, closed door roundtables and curated engagements, the Forum serves as a catalyst for policy alignment, strategic partnerships and innovation outcomes. Through this partnership, Finance Loop will engage with GFTNs global network to contribute to these critical conversations and help shape the next generation of financial infrastructure.
"Partnering with GFTN and participating in the Point Zero Forum allows us to collaborate with a global community working at the intersection of policy, technology, and finance", said Michael Wutzke, Managing Partner of Finance Loop. As financial systems undergo rapid transformation, platforms like the Point Zero Forum play a critical role in bringing together regulators, industry leaders, and innovators to drive meaningful progress and real world impact.
As a partner, Finance Loop will contribute to advancing dialogue, fostering cross sector collaboration, and supporting the development of more resilient, inclusive and future ready financial systems.
