Geneva Summit 2026
Geneva Summit is a two-day, invitation-only conference for people making institutional digital asset decisions. The Big Whale is organizing the first edition for 300 selected executives from banks, asset managers, public institutions, payment networks and market infrastructure companies.
The 2026 summit takes place on 12 and 13 November at Hotel President Wilson in Geneva. Panels, parallel workshops and closed discussions examine how regulated institutions can move tokenization, digital money, custody and onchain finance from strategy into operations.
When and where is Geneva Summit 2026?
Geneva Summit 2026 runs from Thursday, 12 November, through Friday, 13 November 2026. The venue is Hotel President Wilson at 47 Quai Wilson in Geneva, where the program uses the Apollon plenary room, smaller workshop rooms and lakeside hospitality spaces.
The official Summit page provides current travel guidance, nearby accommodation and application details. Participants arrange their own accommodation, while approved partners receive separate information about the reserved hotel room block.
Who can attend the Geneva Summit?
Attendance is reserved for senior decision-makers from financial institutions, asset managers, public bodies and enterprise companies. The stated functions include heads of digital assets, chief financial officers, treasurers, chief technology officers, investment managers, risk and compliance leaders, payments specialists and policy officials.
Every application receives an individual review, and corporate members of The Big Whale receive priority access. The Big Whale states that no participation fee applies and that venue, program and catering costs are covered, while participants remain responsible for travel and accommodation.
What does the Geneva Summit program cover?
The published agenda names six fields for institutional digital asset adoption. These fields cover regulation under MiCA, Basel III, DORA and financial crime rules; stablecoins and cross-border settlement; custody and institutional infrastructure; tokenization of real assets; artificial intelligence agents inside regulated finance; and institutional capital strategy.
Published sessions address internal infrastructure, onchain identity, always-on markets, tokenized deposits, secondary liquidity and enterprise adoption. The listed questions ask about governance, operating models and deployment evidence for institutions moving beyond pilots.
How the two-day program works
The first day combines plenary discussions about tokenization and financial-system governance with three parallel workshop rounds. Emma Pecenicic, Amy Oldenburg, Kate Lowe and Emilio Anting are listed for the opening tokenization panel, while Clarisse Hagège, Elias Kokaly and Marc Tillement lead specialized workshops.
The second day examines stablecoins, tokenized deposits and institutional production systems. Stéphanie Cabossioras, Jean-Jacques Barbéris and Emma Lovett are listed for the digital-money panel, followed by workshops with Anthony Pecore, Brian Oliver and Guilhem Chaumont.
Why Geneva is the host city
The conference takes place in the Geneva financial center, where private banking, wealth management, commodity trade finance and international institutions meet. Hotel President Wilson stands on the lakefront near the United Nations district and provides one plenary room for the stated 300-person capacity.
Paris Europlace, the Crypto Valley Association, the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services, and the Capital Markets and Technology Association support the Summit. These supporters represent financial centers and industry organizations in France and Switzerland.
Participation and partnership access
Prospective participants apply through the official Summit form, because registration is neither automatic nor transferable. Approved attendees receive the access conditions directly, and sessions are not recorded or streamed under the Chatham House Rule.
The Big Whale separately presents Bronze, Silver and Gold partnership packages, with one exclusive Gold title position. Companies considering a program partnership should request the current sponsorship material directly from The Big Whale, since package availability can change before November.
