Dr. Jan J. Kruppa
Dr. Jan J. Kruppa is an ambassador of Finance Loop. Together with others, he is supporting the creation of a strong Web3 hub in Munich.
Jan J. Kruppa is legal strategist and a specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law. He is permanent author for the juris PraxisReport (the most-comprehensive legal online portal in Germany) and was for 11 years lecturer at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Munich.
He worked for several years at a global interdisciplinary consulting firm (tax consulting, auditing, legal and management consulting) and at a Big Four law firm (service line: corporate/M&A). Since 2019, he has been working for specialized legal boutiques that advises companies, shareholders and individuals in business law. He advises in all areas of commercial/corporate law and on compliance matters.
In his professional capacity as a lawyer and a certified blockchain & law professional, he – for example – advises a startup on blockchain-driven legal solutions for international supply chains with an emphasis on ESG considerations or on an innovative NFTs project. In 2024, Jan co-founded DLT Germany.
DLT Germany has three goals:
- Firstly, it holds meetings, where web3 enthusiasts can meet and exchange ideas with interesting companies and groups.
- Secondly, it is a networking platform based on trust. DLT Germany provides only recommendations of peoples and companies with whom they had have previous experiences.
- Thirdly, it organizes events on current, intriguing topics like “Data protection and its impacts on blockchain and AI” or “Successful use cases in web3 space”.
