Blockscape
Blockscape is a Swiss staking company that has operated validator nodes on proof-of-stake blockchains since 2018. Institutions, funds and protocols use its infrastructure to stake tokens without running servers themselves, while the tokens remain in their own custody. The company is founder-led and independent, with its seat in Zug and its team working from Switzerland and Germany.
Blockscape states that it runs more than 7,000 validators on several networks and manages more than one billion dollars in staked assets. Besides staking on Ethereum and other networks, the company offers restaking through EigenLayer and Symbiotic. Its ChainNow platform rents dedicated validator nodes to institutions and platforms that resell staking to their own customers.
Non-custodial staking for institutions
Blockscape lets institutional clients choose how much control they keep over their staking setup. In non-custodial staking the client holds the keys to its tokens, and Blockscape runs the validators under service level agreements with monitoring and analytics. White-label staking lets a bank, broker or platform offer staking and restaking under its own brand on Blockscape infrastructure. Blockscape reports high validator effectiveness and a track record without a single slashing incident on its validators.
Dedicated validator nodes with ChainNow
ChainNow is the turnkey service for institutions and platforms that want to launch, scale or resell staking and node operations. A client gets dedicated nodes, from a single setup to a full fleet, sees the performance data and leaves maintenance and upgrades to Blockscape. For version 3 of Lido, the staking company from Zug applied in November 2025 to run stVaults as a professional operator and listed data centers in Germany, Finland, Switzerland, Canada, France, Singapore and Australia.
Restaking with EigenLayer and Symbiotic
Restaking reuses staked ether to secure further services, which brings additional rewards and additional slashing conditions. Blockscape is a node operator for EigenLayer and Symbiotic and runs the infrastructure for delegators who choose those protocols. Together with SSV and StakeWise the company built the Blockscape Vault, a liquid staking setup that splits each validator key across several independent operators.

Staking under Swiss supervision
In December 2023 the Swiss financial market supervisor FINMA published its practice on custodial staking of ether, and the law firm MME explained in an article when no banking license is needed. The custodian has to keep control of the withdrawal keys, even when an outside operator such as Blockscape holds the validator keys and runs the nodes. That operator signs a message in advance that fixes the withdrawal address of the customer, and it hands the custodian a pre-signed exit message. Blockscape welcomed the FINMA practice publicly and named MME as its legal adviser on the question.
