Claude Course: Free, Paid and In-Person
A Claude course is one of three things: a free self-paced course from Anthropic, paid training from a third-party provider, or an in-person workshop. Finance Loop's Claude Hacker House is an in-person workshop series in Frankfurt.
Anthropic's free Claude courses
Anthropic runs the Claude Academy, which it describes as free courses, tutorials and use cases from its education team. The courses are hosted on Skilljar, where the catalog lists Claude 101, Claude Code 101, Claude Platform 101, Introduction to Claude Cowork, AI Fluency: Framework & Foundations and Building with the Claude API, among others. The Academy page lists AI Fluency with 14 lessons, a quiz and about four hours of work.
According to Analytics Vidhya, many of these courses end with a certificate of completion after a final assessment. Claude 101 and AI Fluency suit beginners, and the API courses expect programming knowledge. The courses are taught in English, as Dr. Web reports (in German).
Third-party Claude training
Training companies sell Claude courses to teams. DataNorth runs sessions of two or four hours for up to ten people in Dutch, English or German, digitally or on site. AI Ireland offers half-day and full-day sessions, online or in person, with no prior AI experience required. LaunchPad Lab builds a half day around agents, and Zartis builds its sessions around Claude Code. These courses are built around one team's use cases, so the room holds one organization.
In-person workshops and Claude Hacker House
An in-person workshop with open registration is a course with a date and a room. Finance Loop runs Claude Hacker House at TechQuartier in Frankfurt with Finteda and Frankfurt Data Science. A session covers workflows, agents, the Model Context Protocol and virtual organization management, with hands-on building time and a moderated Q&A. The series expects a solid understanding of technology and AI, so it is no beginner course.
The series is paid. Finance Loop Premium Members attend at no extra cost, and employees of paid Finance Loop partner programs can apply to join for free. Participants receive a certificate of attendance, which confirms attendance only. For a certification, see Claude Certified Architect Foundations. Claude Hacker House is an independent community event and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic.
