Corporate AI Training

Corporate AI training is training a company buys for its own teams, usually as workshops on the AI tools the company has approved. In a bank or asset manager the subjects are concrete: AI agents for compliance checks, coding assistants for IT, document analysis for credit and research. Before the first session, the company has to settle which tools and data the workshop may use, and in Germany the works council has a say. Dated events are in the calendar below.

In-house workshop or open format

An in-house workshop works with the company's own tools, documents and use cases, and the group can talk about internal processes it would not discuss in front of other firms. An open format such as a Claude workshop or a vibe coding workshop sets date and city, and participants compare notes with people from other companies. A firm can send a few people to an open format first and book an in-house session for the wider team afterwards.

What to settle before the workshop

Decide which tools are approved and set up accounts in advance, so that the session does not start with logins. Prepare test data or public documents: customer data belongs in an external AI service only under a processing contract that meets Article 28 of the GDPR. Group participants by level, because a credit analyst and a developer need different sessions. Agree on one result per team, such as a prompt library or a small agent that drafts a compliance check, so the training ends in something the team uses the next day. Building AI agents for finance covers the agent side.

The works council in Germany

A German works council co-determines how in-company vocational training is carried out, under section 98 of the Works Constitution Act (in German). It also co-determines the introduction of technical systems designed to monitor employees' behavior or performance under section 87(1) no. 6 (in German), which labor courts apply to software that is able to record such data. An AI tool rollout with a training program attached often needs an agreement with the works council first. The duty to build AI literacy under the EU AI Act is covered on AI training for employees.

Upcoming Finance Loop events

Corporate AI training with Finance Loop

Finance Loop's private workshops are hands-on sessions adapted to a team's level and goals, in English or German, at the company's location or in a European financial center. The academy's featured experts include Dr. Christoph Schorsch for AI automation and Fayssal El Mofatiche for market data and AI. For Frankfurt providers, AI training in Frankfurt compares the options.

What is corporate AI training?

Corporate AI training is AI education a company organizes for its staff, from a half-day introduction to multi-day workshops on agents or coding. It differs from an open course in that the content follows the company's own tools, data and processes.

How long should an AI workshop for a company take?

A half day covers the basics of prompting and checking answers. Building an agent or a small tool with a coding assistant takes a full day or more, with time for each team to finish its own example.

Does the works council have a say in AI training?

In Germany, yes. It co-determines how in-company training is carried out, and the AI tool used in it often falls under its co-determination on technical systems that can monitor employees.
