CV Labs
CV Labs is the ecosystem builder of the blockchain venture capital firm CV VC and was founded in 2018 in the Swiss Crypto Valley around Zug. The company runs an accelerator for early-stage blockchain startups and rents out coworking desks, offices and event spaces to firms from the field. Its stated aim is to support the people who build blockchain technology into better ways to live and work.
CV Labs has its headquarters in Zug and further offices in Vaduz, Berlin, Lisbon and Cape Town. Startups, corporates and investors use its programs when they want to apply blockchain in their own industries. The best-known event of CV Labs is the CV Summit in Zurich, which calls itself the largest Swiss conference on institutional digital assets and AI.
The accelerator for blockchain startups
The CV Labs accelerator is a ten-week program for early-stage blockchain startups from any country. It starts with a two-week bootcamp in person in Zug, followed by eight weeks of remote work for the teams. Accepted startups receive 150,000 US dollars, of which 115,000 are paid in cash, and can get follow-on investments of up to 500,000 US dollars.
For most early-stage teams, CV VC invests the 150,000 dollars for six percent of the equity, with a side letter for tokens. Selection runs in steps, from a five-minute pitch video to a call with the investment team and a final interview with the investment committee. Next to its own program, CV Labs runs partner accelerators with Stellar and with Cardano, and it hosts a Lisk incubation hub.
Address and offices
The headquarters of CV Labs is at Dammstrasse 16 in 6300 Zug, in the canton that gave the Crypto Valley its name. Coworking desks, private offices, meeting rooms and event spaces are available in Zug, Vaduz and Lisbon. CV Labs also helps foreign companies with a domicile and with setting up a company in Switzerland.
The office in Vaduz gives blockchain firms a base in Liechtenstein, which has regulated tokens under its own Token and Trusted Technology Service Provider Act since 2020. The newest offices of CV Labs are in Berlin, Lisbon and Cape Town.
CV Summit in Zurich
The CV Summit is the annual conference of CV Labs and describes itself as the largest Swiss conference on institutional digital assets and AI. It brings more than 3,000 attendees and 200 speakers to the Kongresshaus Zurich, on three stages with workshops and an exhibition area of more than 1,000 square meters. The program has four tracks: financial infrastructure, the tokenization of capital markets, AI and the intelligent economy, and wealth and asset management.

Web3 Hub Davos
During the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in January, CV Labs hosts the Web3 Hub Davos, four days of talks and networking on blockchain, AI and global capital. Earlier editions ran under the name Blockchain Hub Davos, which CV Labs organized together with CasperLabs.
How CV Labs and CV VC work together
CV VC is the venture capital firm, and CV Labs is the ecosystem arm that supports its investments. CV VC provides the money in the accelerator, and CV Labs runs the program and the coworking spaces. Both companies share the same address at Dammstrasse 16 in Zug.
