Regtech and risk conferences in Frankfurt
KPMG runs two one-day conferences at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. The KPMG RegTech Conference is for people from financial services, compliance, risk management and regulatory affairs; past programs covered AML model validation, instant payments, digital asset compliance and AI in compliance work. The KPMG RiskTech Conference brings heads of risk management at banks together with risk software vendors, and participation is free.
Software vendors hold events of their own. Regnology, a provider of regulatory reporting software, announced the 32nd edition of its annual RegTech Convention.
The rules that fill the agenda
Four EU laws drive most programs: the anti-money laundering package with its new authority AMLA in Frankfurt, DORA on IT risk and third-party providers, the EU AI Act for credit scoring and other high-risk AI, and MiCA for crypto asset service providers.
