Stork oracle

Stork is an oracle network that streams prices to applications on public blockchains with sub-second latency. Trusted publishers send their prices to Stork, which aggregates and verifies them and makes the result available offchain and onchain. Stork supports more than 500 assets on more than 70 chains, including EVM chains, Solana, Sui and Aptos.

Its main users are exchanges for perpetual futures, which need a fresh index price and mark price for every trade and every liquidation. Stork also sells market data from perpetual futures exchanges and prediction markets, such as order books and funding rates. Stork Labs, the company behind the network, raised a seed round of $4.7 million in August 2024.

A pull oracle with sub-second updates

Stork describes its design as a pull oracle with automated onchain delivery. It aggregates, verifies and audits the data from its publishers continuously, and both the publisher inputs and the aggregated outputs carry signatures that anyone can check. An application pulls the latest signed price as often as it needs, and Stork can also write prices onchain for protocols that expect a stored value. Stork Labs adds new assets and deployments on further chains when a protocol requests them.

Prices for perpetual futures exchanges

Stork calls itself the leading oracle for decentralized perpetual futures exchanges and states that it has secured more than $4 trillion in trading volume. Its case studies cover the exchanges Extended, Lighter and Paradex, and Stork reports that daily volume on Paradex grew 31-fold during 2025. A perpetual futures exchange reads these prices for every funding payment and every liquidation, so a late or wrong price moves money between traders at once.

Stork has worked with prediction markets since 2024, and Kalshi appears among the platforms shown on its website. Stork also states an uptime record of five nines, which means the feeds were available 99.999 percent of the time.

Market data, research and funding

Besides price feeds, Stork sells market data from perpetual futures exchanges and prediction markets: order books, trades, funding rates, resolutions and history down to single participants. A research service with weekly insights and custom data projects completes the offer. Stork Labs raised $4.7 million in a seed round in August 2024, led by Lightspeed Faction and Lattice, with CMS and Wintermute taking part.

Stork and Finance Loop

Finance Loop covers oracle networks in the Investment & Digital Assets track. Stork belongs there because exchanges for perpetual futures depend on its prices for every funding payment and every liquidation. Finance Loop held a panel on decentralized oracle networks for smart contracts in Frankfurt, a pre-event of the Crypto Assets Conference 2024.

Finance Loop is a professional network and has the goal of driving the adoption of emerging technologies in finance, such as AI, tokenization, stablecoins, and DeFi. Finance Loop helps its members build skills and personal networks in these fields: Investment & Digital Assets, Payments & Digital Money, Digital Infrastructure & Sovereignty, and Risk & Compliance.
