Crypto Assets Conference (CAC)
The Crypto Assets Conference (CAC) is a one-day conference on blockchain and digital assets at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, where banks, asset managers and market infrastructure meet the crypto industry and its regulators. The next edition, CAC27, takes place on April 7, 2027. Finance Loop was a partner of CAC over several years.
Who organizes the Crypto Assets Conference
Frankfurt School of Finance & Management runs the conference through its Centre for Digital Economics (FS-C4DE), which until spring 2026 was the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center. For CAC26, Frankfurt School and Deutsche Börse Group hosted the conference together.
The organizers describe CAC as the conference that connects the traditional finance industry with the thought leaders of the digital asset space, in the DACH region and beyond. The program is aimed at decision-makers from the German and European financial industry, supervisors and policymakers.
What the conference covers
CAC starts from capital markets: tokenized securities, collateral management and the market infrastructure that banks and exchanges build for digital assets. Regulation runs through every edition, from MiCAR and stablecoins to the German Electronic Securities Act (eWpG) and the EU DLT Pilot Regime. Wholesale central bank digital currencies, institutional crypto trading and custody, and the links between DeFi and traditional finance complete the program.
Attendees, format and past editions
CAC26 drew more than 550 people on site and more than 3,000 online, with talks and panels on two stages; the conference is hybrid, and recordings of CAC26 are online. The editions carry the year in their name: CAC 2025, CAC26 and next CAC27, which is also the hashtag.
The venue is the Frankfurt School campus at Adickesallee 32-34 in Frankfurt am Main. The Digital Euro Conference takes place on the same campus, and in 2026 it followed CAC on the next day.

Is the Crypto Assets Conference only about crypto?
No. Most sessions deal with how banks, exchanges and asset managers use tokenization, digital money and crypto assets under existing securities and banking law. Speakers come from banks, market infrastructure, supervisors and academia as well as from crypto firms.
How is CAC different from the other Frankfurt conferences?
CAC concentrates on digital assets and their regulation in capital markets. Frankfurt Digital Finance covers the digital change of the whole financial industry over two days, and the Digital Euro Conference covers central bank money and stablecoins. Finance Loop is a partner of all three.
