Stakely

Stakely is a staking provider from Spain that runs validator nodes on proof-of-stake blockchains such as Ethereum, Solana and Cosmos. Token holders delegate to these validators and receive network rewards, while their tokens never leave their own wallets. Five friends founded the company in 2020, and the first network it validated was the LTO Network.

For institutions Stakely sells white-label validators, a staking API and a staking widget for their own products, and it holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications. Since 2021 the company has also run Ethereum validators as a node operator for Lido.

White-label validators and the staking API

With white-label staking a client gets its own validator nodes and keeps the keys, while Stakely handles maintenance, monitoring and upgrades. The offer covers more than 30 networks, promises 99.95 percent uptime and includes slashing insurance, with monthly or annual billing. The staking API connects an exchange, custodian or bank to many networks through a single integration instead of one integration per blockchain.

Ethereum staking with Simple CSM

The Community Staking Module of Lido lets smaller operators run Ethereum validators against a bond, and Simple CSM is the Stakely service for it. Stakely launched Simple CSM in January 2025 and takes over setup and maintenance, so a user starts a validator without running servers. The company counts more than 11,000 Ethereum validators and validates for liquid staking and restaking protocols such as SSV, Obol, StakeWise, Symbiotic and EigenLayer.

Multicoin faucet for developers

The Stakely faucet hands out small amounts of tokens on many networks so that developers and new users can pay their first transaction fees. A wallet without the native token of a network cannot send a transaction, and the faucet removes that hurdle for tests and first steps. Stakely launched the multicoin faucet in 2021, one year after the company was founded.

Is staking with Stakely safe?

Every delegation carries the risk of slashing, in which a network destroys part of the stake after a validator fault such as double signing. Stakely includes slashing insurance in its white-label offer, and its security processes hold SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications. The protocol risk of each network stays with the delegator, so its slashing and unbonding rules belong in the risk assessment.

Where is Stakely based?

Stakely, S.L. is a Spanish limited company with its registered office on Calle Ferraz in Madrid. The team has 14 members, and co-founder Josep Dalmau is also one of its developers. Since 2023 Stakely has offset its carbon emissions in cooperation with KlimaDAO.
