Woorton
Woorton is an algorithmic trading desk for digital assets with its seat in Paris, registered as Woorton SAS. Woorton provides liquidity on crypto exchanges and quotes OTC prices around the clock, so that blockchain foundations, token issuers, exchanges, brokers and asset managers can trade crypto assets in size and settle in several currencies.
Woorton has belonged to the London liquidity provider B2C2 since 2023, when B2C2 bought the firm to strengthen its business in the European Union. The French regulator AMF authorized Woorton as a crypto-asset service provider under MiCA in July 2026, after four years under the older French registration for digital asset service providers.
A Paris trading desk inside the B2C2 group
Woorton built its business as a market maker and OTC desk in France and registered with the AMF as a digital asset service provider under the number E2022-044. When B2C2 announced the purchase in August 2023, The Block reported that Woorton had nearly 250 clients trading 96 coins.
The buyer wanted a regulated base in the European Union before MiCA took effect. Woorton kept its name and its Paris office, while B2C2 opened a Luxembourg company of its own in 2024 for the wider EU market.
Authorization under MiCA
The AMF authorized Woorton SAS on 23 July 2026 as a crypto-asset service provider under Article 63 of MiCA, with the number A2026-027 on its white list of authorized providers. The authorization covers exchange of crypto assets for funds, exchange of crypto assets for other crypto assets and execution of orders for clients.
The ESMA interim MiCA register lists passport notifications for 26 further countries of the EU, from Austria to Slovakia. Custody and transfer services are not part of the license, so clients keep their crypto assets with a custodian of their own choice.
What token issuers and institutions use Woorton for
A blockchain foundation or a stablecoin issuer that lists its token on exchanges needs a firm that keeps buy and sell orders in the order book. Woorton does this as a market maker and also trades large blocks over the counter for asset managers, brokers and corporates.
For a European bank or broker, the AMF authorization makes Woorton a counterparty it can check in a public register. The contract still has to settle how and in which currencies trades are paid, since Woorton settles in several fiat currencies and crypto assets.

What is Woorton?
Woorton is a crypto market maker and OTC trading desk from Paris that belongs to the B2C2 group. Woorton calls itself a regulated algorithmic trading desk for digital assets and serves foundations, issuers, exchanges, brokers, asset managers and corporates.
Woorton in Paris
Woorton SAS has its seat in the second arrondissement of Paris, at 81 rue Réaumur, and is registered with the Paris commercial court under the number 838 089 167. The trading desk works from Paris for clients across the European Union.
Crypto market making and OTC liquidity
On exchanges, Woorton places buy and sell orders on both sides of the order book and earns the spread. Over the counter, the desk quotes a firm price for large trades at any hour, so that a client can buy or sell a block without moving the public market price.
From PSAN registration to MiCA license
Before MiCA, French crypto firms registered with the AMF as PSAN, prestataires de services sur actifs numériques, and Woorton held that registration. Since July 2026 the firm has held a full MiCA authorization, which replaces the national status and allows passporting into other member states.
B2C2 as owner
The London liquidity provider B2C2, which is majority owned by the Japanese SBI group, bought Woorton in 2023 for an undisclosed price. B2C2 holds its own MiCA authorization in Luxembourg through B2C2 Europe Sàrl, so the group has two licensed companies in the European Union.
