ISP Group
ISP Group is a privately owned Swiss financial services firm with its headquarters in Zurich and offices in Geneva, Tel Aviv, Dubai and Hong Kong. Its subsidiary ISP Securities Ltd. is a securities firm licensed and supervised by the Swiss regulator FINMA, with roots going back to 1993. More than 100 finance professionals work in four business lines: capital markets, digital assets, trading and investing.
Asset managers, private banks, family offices and companies come to ISP when they want an investment strategy or an asset turned into a bankable security with its own ISIN. ISP structures and issues these certificates and later pays out their coupons and redemptions to investors. For crypto assets, the group runs regulated custody and staking and issues crypto ETPs, and it tokenizes shares, bonds and real assets for issuers.
Securitization, AMCs and paying agent services
ISP has issued more than 2,500 ISINs, and its securitization business services more than USD 10 billion in assets across 12 jurisdictions. An asset manager can turn an investment strategy, private equity, private loans, real estate or digital assets into actively managed certificates (AMCs), tracker certificates or credit-linked notes. Each product comes out of a ring-fenced, bankruptcy-remote special purpose vehicle, and ISP sets up its ISIN through SIX SIS, Euroclear and Clearstream so that banks can hold and settle it like any other security.
As paying agent, ISP pays coupons, dividends and redemptions to investors on behalf of the issuer and handles corporate actions such as early repayments and tender offers. These payments can also be made in digital assets when a product follows a token-based strategy.
Brokerage and custody for asset managers
The trading desk of ISP executes equities, bonds, ETFs, funds, foreign exchange, derivatives, private market instruments and crypto-related assets through a network of about 700 banks and brokers. ISP does not trade on its own account, and its fixed income team writes credit research for institutional investors, private banks, family offices and hedge funds.
In Switzerland, ISP Securities is a direct sub-custodian and reporting member of SIX SIS, the Swiss central securities depository. External asset managers can keep client assets with ISP or with one of its partner banks. Cash deposits at ISP Securities fall under the Swiss deposit insurance, which protects up to CHF 100,000 per client.
Custody, trading and staking of digital assets
ISP Securities holds tokens as a FINMA-regulated custodian in a separate wallet for each client, on custody technology from Taurus with multi-signature keys. Incoming tokens first land in entry wallets, where ISP screens them before they reach the client wallet. Clients place orders with the OTC desk by chat or email, execute directly on exchanges through Taurus Prime, or trade bitcoin, ether and USDC on the Rulematch venue through sponsored access.
With custodial staking, the staked tokens never leave the custody of ISP Securities, which pools them for the staking process. For large conversions between fiat money and crypto, the desk covers more than 400 digital assets and settles in several fiat currencies. In December 2025, ISP reported its approval as a crypto custodian for ETPs listed on SIX Swiss Exchange.
Crypto ETPs, certificates and tokenization
Asset managers can package an active crypto strategy in an AMC, follow a single token or a basket with a tracker certificate, or issue a crypto ETP. ISP structures and issues each ETP with a Swiss ISIN and lists it on Swiss exchanges, and the issuer holds the underlying coins one to one in segregated custody. Investors then get exposure to bitcoin, ether or Solana through an ordinary bank or brokerage account, without wallets or private keys of their own.
ISP has issued digital assets since 2018 and tokenizes shares, debt instruments and real-world assets such as real estate, art, precious metals, wine and whiskey. A registrar service keeps the ownership records of the tokens, and an onboarding launchpad runs KYC and AML checks on investors. ISP also acts as listing agent and listing sponsor for tokenized securities on the regulated venues 21X and BX Digital, and it can quote bid and ask prices for listed tokens.
Survey on digital assets in wealth and asset management
Between June and September 2026, ISP surveyed 62 asset managers and related institutions on their appetite for digital assets and their readiness to offer them. The 2026 Digital Assets Report came out on 29 September 2026, the first day of CV Summit 2026 in Zurich. The report finds that digital assets already sit in client portfolios and that readiness differs widely between firms. The largest capability gaps are in custody and tokenization, and the size of a firm decides its ability to act more than its level of interest does.
