Paris Blockchain Week

Paris Blockchain Week (PBW) was the largest blockchain and digital asset conference in continental Europe, held at the Carrousel du Louvre. It now runs under the name Signal Week, and the next edition is on July 6 and 7, 2027 at the Palais des Congres de Paris. If you are looking for dates, speakers or the venue, that is the event you want.

Official Paris Blockchain Week homepage announces its continuation as Signal Week 2027 in Paris.

Paris Blockchain Week is now Signal Week

The name changed between May and June 2026, and the conference itself did not. www.parisblockchainweek.com is still online and carries the headline "Paris Blockchain Week Is Now Signal Week" over the new date and venue, followed by: "That room is now Signal Week, carrying the same vision forward: bridging traditional finance and digital assets." The old domain does not redirect; it serves that page itself.

The organizer declines the word rebrand. The Signal Week ethos page states: "For seven years, Paris Blockchain Week brought together the people building, funding, and steering the digital asset ecosystem. That world has evolved, and so have we. Signal Week is what comes next. Signal Week is not a rebrand of Paris Blockchain Week: it is an elevation." The sponsor page adds the same reading of continuity: "Seven editions of Paris Blockchain Week built this room. Signal Week 2027 is what it becomes next, at a bigger stage and with a broader mandate." Trade press reported it as a rename: Crypto Briefing wrote on July 20, 2026 that "where Paris Blockchain Week built credibility as Europe's leading institutional digital asset conference, Signal Week takes that credibility and positions it for the decade ahead, under a name that matches where the industry actually is."

The seven editions and what changed with them

Chain of Events, a Paris organizer of professional blockchain conferences, started Paris Blockchain Week in 2019. The 2023 edition was the fourth as a live event and ran from March 20 to 24 at the Carrousel du Louvre, built from a two-day summit plus Web3XP, the one-day event that had been called Paris NFT Day. Alongside it came a hackathon, a startup competition and side events put on by other companies across the city, which is where the word week came from.

The program followed the market. The early editions carried decentralized finance, NFTs, Web3 and the metaverse under headings such as Tech Builders, Public Policy, Enterprise Blockchain and Open Finance. By 2026 the conference ran two days on April 15 and 16 under the line "Where Digital Assets Meet Institutional Adoption", with institutional custody, cross-border settlement, market structure and regulation as its subjects. Attendance grew from more than 6,000 in 2022 to more than 10,000 from over 100 countries in 2026, with 320 speakers and 70 percent of the audience in C-suite or investment decision roles.

Who owns the conference now

Hyve Group Limited in London bought it on July 20, 2026, together with the RAISE Summit and the Machina Summit, and describes itself as the leading organizer of B2B events. Hyve CEO Mark Shashoua called the three "category-defining brands built by exceptional founders who understood where their industries were heading before most others".

The four founders are Michael Amar, Charlie Meraud, Henri Delahaye and Hadrien de Cournon. Amar, who chairs Signal Week and the RAISE Summit, said of the sale: "Joining Hyve marks an exciting new chapter." Hyve also owns Fintech Meetup, which now runs its European edition together with Signal Week in Paris.

When is Paris Blockchain Week 2027?

There is no Paris Blockchain Week 2027. The 2027 edition is Signal Week 2027, on July 6 and 7, 2027 at the Palais des Congres de Paris, 2 Place de la Porte Maillot, 75017 Paris, as signalweek.com and the old PBW site both state. The last edition to carry the Paris Blockchain Week name met on April 15 and 16, 2026.

Where was Paris Blockchain Week held?

At the Carrousel du Louvre, the exhibition level under the Louvre, from the early editions through 2026. The VIP dinner of the 2026 edition took place at the Chateau de Versailles. Signal Week 2027 moves to the Palais des Congres de Paris at Porte Maillot, which the organizers call a bigger stage.

What does PBW stand for?

PBW is the abbreviation of Paris Blockchain Week, used in edition names such as PBW26 and PBW 2025. Searched on its own, the three letters mostly return parking operators and an exchange-traded fund, so the conference is worth searching under its full name or under Signal Week.

What are the Paris Blockchain Week side events?

Side events are the meetups, workshops, dinners and parties that other companies hold around the main conference, in their own venues and on their own invitation lists; they were never part of the PBW ticket. The main week also had its own satellites: the hackathon, the Start in Block startup competition and a talent fair. Whether the side-event circuit carries over to the July date in 2027 is not stated by the organizer.

Paris Blockchain Week and Finance Loop

Finance Loop tracks the European conference calendar for its members because the names change faster than the agendas do, and a page that still points at Paris Blockchain Week sends people to the wrong month. Finance Loop runs its own events on the subjects this conference covers, from custody and settlement to supervision, in Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin and Hamburg.

Finance Loop is a professional network and has the goal of driving the adoption of emerging technologies in finance, such as AI, tokenization, stablecoins, and DeFi. Finance Loop helps its members build skills and personal networks in these fields: Investment & Digital Assets, Payments & Digital Money, Digital Infrastructure & Sovereignty, and Risk & Compliance.
