Claude Agent Workshop Frankfurt

A Claude agent workshop in Frankfurt teaches participants to build software that uses Claude to plan steps and call tools. An agent can read files or retrieve information as it works toward a defined task, using the results of each action to decide on its next step. The workshop introduces the connection between the language model, the available tools and the instructions that guide the agent.

Practical exercises cover how to give an agent a task, examine its actions and decide which tools it may use. Participants also learn to distinguish a fixed workflow from an agent that chooses its next step. These skills help developers test an application before allowing it to work with company data or perform actions beyond a controlled training environment.

What a Claude agent workshop covers

The guide to building effective agents from Anthropic separates two designs. In a workflow, predefined code paths orchestrate the model and its tools. In an agent, the model directs its own process and its use of tools. A Claude agent workshop shows where that line sits and how to build on each side of it.

The tooling starts with the Claude Agent SDK, a Python and TypeScript library that gives your own application the agent loop and the built-in tools of Claude Code. Managed Agents is the hosted variant: Anthropic runs the agent loop in a cloud sandbox, and you configure the agent through the Claude API. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) connects an agent to outside tools and data. A session on how to build an AI agent with Claude touches all of these.

How agent workshops are run

LaunchPad Lab runs a half-day session of about 3.5 hours, on site or by video, for teams of 6 to 15 people who share workflows. Participants work in pairs and build agents on those workflows. No prior AI experience is required.

A session for one company fits that company's processes. A session with open registration puts people from different companies in one room, so the use cases and the questions vary. Claude Hacker House is of the second kind.

Claude Hacker House: agents in Frankfurt

Finance Loop runs Claude Hacker House with Finteda and Frankfurt Data Science at TechQuartier in Frankfurt. The event program lists building workflows, setting up agents, MCP and managing a virtual organization of agents. A session splits into hands-on building time and a moderated Q&A with the speakers.

The series expects a solid understanding of technology and AI. The Claude Hacker House workshop focuses on building agents for participants with technical experience. The use cases come from business and finance, as in the book Building AI Agents for Finance by one of the lecturers. Participants receive a certificate of attendance.

Claude Hacker House is an independent community event and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic.
