In April 2026, Finance Loop announced its partnership with the Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN) for the Point Zero Forum 2026, joining an international forum for policy dialogue, financial technology and cross-border collaboration.
Established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024, GFTN connects policymakers, financial institutions, and technology leaders. With a presence across Singapore, Tokyo and Berlin, GFTN convenes stakeholders from over 130 countries.
Finance Loop participated in the Point Zero Forum 2026, the European forum of GFTN held in Zurich from 23-25 June 2026. In its fifth edition, the Forum was a collaboration between the Swiss State Secretariat for International Finance (SIF) and GFTN, organized in cooperation with institutions including the BIS Innovation Hub, MAS, the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), and the Swiss National Bank.
Since its inception in 2022, the Point Zero Forum has hosted international dialogue on policy, finance and technology. It convenes central bankers, regulators, policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators to discuss developments in the global financial system. In 2025, the Forum brought together over 2000 participants from more than 60 countries, with many public-sector participants discussing global regulatory frameworks and financial innovation.
The 2026 edition, themed Where Finance Gets Rewired: Trust, Technology, and the New Rules of Money, covered these topics:
- The transition of artificial intelligence, tokenization and quantum technologies from pilot phases to real-world deployment
- The growing importance of digital sovereignty across major economies
- The emergence of always-on, 24/7 financial systems and evolving global trade flows
- The development of new regulatory frameworks governing digital assets and AI
- The rise of new capital corridors across Europe, the GCC, India and ASEAN
The forum held keynote sessions and roundtable discussions behind closed doors. Through this partnership, Finance Loop took part in the exchange with the GFTN network.
"Partnering with GFTN and participating in the Point Zero Forum allows us to collaborate with a global community working at the intersection of policy, technology, and finance", said Michael Wutzke, Managing Partner of Finance Loop. The Point Zero Forum brings regulators, industry leaders and innovators together to discuss changes in financial systems.
Rewriting Trust in an Era of a Financial Tech Stack Upgrade
Global finance is being rewired. AI agents are executing transactions autonomously. Stablecoins are scaling toward a trillion-dollar market. New regulations and frameworks are moving from drafting to enforcement. And as technology advances, so does the need for a new foundation of trust. The Point Zero Forum 2026 brought together over 2,000 policymakers, central bankers, regulators, and industry leaders in Zurich for three days of dialogue at the intersection of finance, technology, and policy.
Conference Name: Point Zero Forum 2026.
Date and Time: June 23–25, 2026
Location: Kongresshaus, Zurich, Switzerland
