YARD Events: the business events calendar
YARD is a platform for business events. It collects events in one place, the Event Explorer, keeps them up to date and passes them on in real time to calendars, websites and alerts. YARD calls itself "an open and neutral connectivity layer" for business events and says of the problem it solves: events are the starting point for business collaboration, but finding the right events is hard.

What YARD offers
YARD states its mission in one line: "YARD connects anyone with what they care about." It wants to give users more choice, help event providers reach new audiences, and let partners grow through data-driven discovery and simple integration. The platform is in beta and describes itself as "engineered in Europe, with user privacy at its core".
Its products, free and paid, are these. The YARD Calendar streams events in real time onto any website, set up with one line of code. YARD Calendar Spotlight and YARD Calendar Ads put a brand or an event in front of the calendar's readers. YARD Event Push puts one event at the top, and YARD Event Alerts notify users about new events. YARD Cards are profiles for finding, verifying and following people and organizations. Anyone can add a missing business event.
The about page of YARD names Michael Wutzke and Luca Caspari as its creators, with support from Jochen Biedermann and Michael Wellenbeck. Michael Wutzke is the initiator and a managing partner of Finance Loop, as his profile states.
Finding finance and fintech events: the field YARD works in
Finance has more events than any single calendar lists: bank conferences, fintech meetups, blockchain summits and side events around large fairs. In Frankfurt alone, conferences such as the Crypto Assets Conference and the Digital Euro Conference draw side events in the days around them. YARD tags events by topic, region and occasion, so one filter shows, for example, all events during Sibos 2025 in Frankfurt, or all blockchain events in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
For a professional network this solves a practical problem. A member who wants to meet people working on payments in Frankfurt or crypto in Germany finds the right evening in one list and does not have to check dozens of organizer sites.

It lists fintech, finance and blockchain events in Frankfurt that other organizers run, next to Finance Loop's own events, and links the YARD Event Explorer for other topics and regions. The landing pages of finance-loop.net carry YARD calendars filtered by city and topic as well.
YARD was also among the supporters of TechClub 25/3, the fintech and blockchain party Finance Loop held with TechQuartier in Frankfurt on March 25, 2025. Finance Loop lists YARD on its About page among its event and network partners.
