Where Frankfurt finance meets

Finance Loop started in Frankfurt and is the professional network that connects the finance, IT and AI communities here. It is built in collaboration with TechQuartier and is a strategic partner of Frankfurt Main Finance and the Digital Euro Association. It runs its own formats, such as the Digital Finance Night, and partners with the city's largest finance conferences.

Whether you come from a bank, a fintech, a regulator or an AI team, Finance Loop is where you find the rest of Frankfurt's finance field in one room.

Several organizations sit behind the events and meetups that make up Frankfurt's finance scene. Frankfurt Main Finance is the industry initiative that represents the financial center as a whole toward policymakers and international partners. TechQuartier connects more than 650 startups with corporates, investors and universities and runs a dedicated Digital Finance Accelerator. Finanzplatz Frankfurt Main is the city's own initiative promoting Frankfurt as a financial center, and the FinTech FFM Meetups group brings fintech founders and professionals together informally.

Outside pure finance, the AI Hub Frankfurt Rhein-Main connects people applying AI across industries, including finance, and Frankfurt Data Science and Frankfurt Forward run their own meetups for the city's data and startup communities. Many of Finance Loop's own events sit inside this same network of groups rather than apart from it, and its strategic partnership with Frankfurt Main Finance links it directly to the city's official representation abroad.

Frankfurt hosts more finance conferences than most European cities. The Crypto Assets Conference, run by Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and Deutsche Börse Group, and the Digital Euro Conference, hosted by the Digital Euro Association, take place back to back every spring, with Finance Loop as partner of both. Frankfurt Digital Finance runs at the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten, and the Frankfurt Quantum Finance Forum, co-organized by Finance Loop with Frankfurt School, the Deutsche Bundesbank and IBM, covers quantum risk to cryptography.

Smaller formats round out the calendar: the Frankfurt Forum on Digital Assets & Applications, the International Financial Standards Conference, Capital & Code and the FinTech Founder & Investor Evening, all with Finance Loop as partner or organizer.

Finance Loop runs the Digital Finance Night as a smaller, high-signal evening for people who work on institutional adoption of finance technology, timed to sit inside the same week as the Crypto Assets Conference and the Digital Euro Conference so visitors to Frankfurt for those two events have a third format to attend. It also supports the FinTech Founder & Investor Evening, which brings founders in front of investors active in the city, and covered Europe's Biggest Fintech Afterwork Party, a larger informal gathering for the wider fintech scene.

The Frankfurt Quantum Finance Forum is co-organized by Finance Loop with Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, the Deutsche Bundesbank and IBM. It puts quantum computing on the agenda for a finance audience, including the risk quantum computers pose to current cryptography, a topic that touches every bank, payment provider and custodian once a quantum computer capable of breaking today's encryption becomes practical. The forum is one of the few events in Europe that brings central bankers, commercial banks and a technology company together specifically on this question.

Capital & Code, held at SPARK Europe in Frankfurt, focuses on payments, finance and digital money, following on from an earlier Stablecoin Day format. Finance Loop is its media partner. It brings the same range of participants as the larger crypto and digital euro conferences, banks, payment providers, fintechs and infrastructure companies, but keeps the scope narrower on how money itself moves rather than on digital assets more broadly.

No single event dominates. The Crypto Assets Conference and the Digital Euro Conference, held on consecutive days each spring, draw the largest crowds for digital assets and payments, while Frankfurt Digital Finance covers fintech more broadly. Finance Loop is partner of all three, and current dates for each are in the events calendar.

Frankfurt has several. Finance Loop connects the finance, IT and AI communities across the city, Frankfurt Main Finance represents the financial center toward policymakers, Finanzplatz Frankfurt Main promotes it publicly, and FinTech FFM Meetups runs informal fintech gatherings. Most people active in Frankfurt finance belong to more than one of these at once.
